Janice was born in North Carolina and went to high school in North Carolina. She earned a Bachelors degree at the Women’s College of the University of North Carolina. Ira and Janice had 2 children, Janice was a social worker for may years. Janice did a lot of work in promoting Holocaust and Civil Rights fellowship.
Ira and Janice married in 1963 after meeting at Hillel at UNC. In 1959 when Ira first arrived at the University of North Carolina.
They married in 1963. On the same day that Arthur Fried and Susan Braverman got married.
Born in Brooklyn, Joel was a devoted family man and loyal friend. He loved Basketball and played for Madison HS, Newberry College and the Army. He is remembered for his warmth and engaging smile. Joel was married to Barbara, they had twin daughters and four Grandchildren.
